Legal Information
- A reasonable cash deposit is required for orders where parts must be removed or ordered from other sources.
DEPOSITS ARE NOT REFUNDABLE and become VOID after a period of 30 Days!
- Exchange parts must be returned at the time of purchase or a core charge will be assessed. The core charge will be refunded
if the exchange parts are brought in within 10 days. Defective parts must be returned within 10 days. The refund of the core
charge will not include sales tax. An invoice must accompany all core refund requests.
- When buyer originally paid by check or credit card, refunds will be issued in the same manner. All refunds are at our discretion.
- All engines are warranted against cracked cylinder blocks or heads, bad cam or crankshaft, excessive smoking, and to be in good
running order, unless otherwise stated. You have purchased a long block (head and block). All other parts are left in place for
convenience only and are not covered in any way by the warranty.
- Cylinder heads are guaranteed against cracks only! All other parts are left in the head for convenience only.
- The used engine you have purchased must have new oil and filter installed upon installation. There is an instruction tag on all
used engines and transmissions. Failure to comply with all instructions will void the warranty. Exterior seals ie. Rear main, front
main, valve covers, intake, etc.
- The warranty starts on the day purchased unless otherwise stated in writing upon purchase.
- You must provide for a new tune-up upon installation of motor (points, plugs, plug wires, etc.)
- Transmissions are warranted to be in good working order against slippage or shifting failures.
- Transmissions must have new seals, filters, and fluids installed upon installation into vehicle.
- Rear ends are guaranteed to work properly; gears are guaranteed to be in good condition. Bearings are guaranteed not noisy at time of purchase.
- Labor is not covered in anyway unless a labor warranty is purchased. (only available to a business)

- Vehicles which have All-Star Auto Salvage engines and transmissions installed must have proper capacity cooling systems and be in good condition.
All cooling systems must be flushed before reattaching to the engine or transmission.
- Proper oil levels and cooling levels must be maintained at all times for warranty to be valid.
- All cylinder heads and engines have heat tabs installed on them. If the tab is melted, missing, or damaged, warranty is void.
- Defective engine or transmission must remain installed in vehicle until an authorized All-Star Auto Salvage representative confirms defect.
- All Star Auto Salvage is not responsible for lost wages, rentals, replacement parts or any other associated fees or losses due to a failure on
any mechanical part. You purchased a used part and assumed the risk when you ordered your part. We make every effort to ensure that all mechanical
and electronic part is tested to the best of our ability before it is sold. We can not test most parts ordered in from another vender.
- No refunds on special order parts.
- All glass is sold "AS IS" at time of sale.
- No refunds or returns on cut-to-order body sections.
- All electrical items are sold "AS IS".
- All defective parts must have the All-Star Auto Salvage identification label on them.
NO EXCEPTIONS! - All warranty work must be done by All-Star Auto Salvage certified shop, or permission to do work must be given by an authorized agent of All-Star Auto Salvage.
- All implied warranties are limited to the terms of the limited warranty. Consequential or incidental damages are not covered under the warranty.
- Warranties on any product sold shall be in effect only for the duration of the express warranties contained herein and upon conclusion of the
expressed warranties herein. There shall be no warranties expressed or implied including merchantability and fitness for use on the product sold.
- This warranty is not transferable and does not cover damage if parts are used in connection with racing purposes or vehicles with
racing equipment or damage by accident or misuse.
- Improper installation will void warranty.
- Warranty is void without receipt.
- 30% handling charge on all returned merchandise. No exchanges after 30 days.
- All-Star Auto Salvage does not assume responsibility for towing charges, lay-up time, telephone, loss due to down time,
cost of lodging, or cost of vehicle use, labor or installation charges.
- Any merchandise or invoice marked "AS IS" will void this certificate of limited warranty. This means no warranty-no refund.
